Sharath Mudupu

Sharath Mudupu is a Hyderabad-based photographer, cinematographer, and visual artist known for his evocative portraiture and documentary photography. A graduate in Photography and Visual Communication (BFA) and Photography & Media Communication (MFA) from Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University (JNAFAU), Hyderabad, his work explores the human condition through a narrative and deeply observational lens.

With a particular affinity for black-and-white imagery and visual storytelling, Mudupu creates photographs that celebrate ordinary lives with extraordinary sensitivity. Drawing inspiration from nature, music, cinema, and everyday experiences, his images combine documentary realism with artistic expression, resulting in timeless portraits that preserve memory, identity, and culture. His photographic works have been exhibited and collected through platforms such as hyd.art, where they document the people and landscapes of rural Telangana with authenticity and quiet dignity.
