Mahatma Book Launch

Mahatma Book Cover

Mahatma, illustrated by Shankar Pamarthy was launched on 20 December 2025 at hyd.art 2025. The book presents a visual exploration of Mahatma Gandhi’s life and legacy through hand-drawn illustrations, using ink and line as a narrative medium. Rather than following a conventional biographical format, the work interprets Gandhi’s values, simplicity, and moral strength through visual storytelling. The launch marked an important moment at hyd.art 2025, highlighting illustration as a powerful tool for reflection, documentation, and contemporary cultural dialogue.
