Premalata Sharma is a fourth-generation Mithila painting artist from Madhubani, Bihar. From a young age, she developed a deep passion for painting, finding joy in colors, lines, and forms. She believes that art is not merely a skill but the language of the soul, allowing emotions to flow freely onto the canvas.
Her works have been showcased in prestigious exhibitions, including the IGNCA, New Delhi. Her painting “Radha-Krishna and Chaitanya Mahaprabhu”, featured in Daivatvam, portrays the divine union of Radha and Krishna, with Chaitanya Mahaprabhu as witness. Using both kachni and bharni techniques, Premalata celebrates devotion, love, and the harmony of nature, blending tradition with contemporary expression.
